Watching the 100th anniversary Koshien

Koshien is very famous in Japanese baseball fans. It is a high school baseball tournament. The Japan high school baseball championship will have 100th anniversary next summer. It has a long history. This championship has many fans. An audience of 50,000 comes to watch one game. It is the most popular  amateur championship in Japan. 

I went to Koshien this year. This photo is the highest seat in Koshien. It is 2000 yen. I think it's cheap, because I can watch a player becoming famous. Ichiro is very famous in the MLB. He appeared in Koshien. You may watch a player like him. The outfield bleachers are free. Koshien has 4 games a day. Play starts at is 8:30 A.M. It may so it for around 10 hours depending on the day. I can watch the games a very long time. It is also broadcast on national television.  

Koshien is held in the summer and spring. Spring Koshien is cold. I took a Cairo, but still it was cold. If you go to spring Koshien, you should take warm clothes. Summer Koshien is very hot, because Koshien is black chairs. Koshien sells beers. It is important that you drink cold beer and take anti-heat stroke measures. Koshien will be 100th anniversary next summer. You can feel the power of the audience of 50000. Surely it will be exciting.

Ace of Diamond

Ace of Diamond was published serially by a Kohdansha in 2006. The author is Yuji Terashima. Nearly 60 books about Ace of Diamond have been published in all , but it still continues. The chief character is Eijun Sawamura. The story is about high school baseball. It is him who grows up while he aims at Koshien. Ace of Diamond has a special meaning. The infield of the baseball is called a diamond and Eijun is an uncut stone diamond as a pitcher.  Ace of Diamond is a very real story. The location is west Tokyo. The school’s name is Seido High School. Number of games in the same as the true number in the National High School Baseball Championship. Eijun is an eleventh grader now. The uniform number 1 usually given to the ace in National High School Baseball of Japan. It is the number that many high school baseball students aim at. To Koshien Final

The 90th national high school baseball championship held Final at Koshien Stadium on April 4th. I watched the finals of Koshien for the first time. I sat at the free seat. Many audience came , but did not become full.  The finals were confrontations between Kinki area. It is a confrontation of Osaka Toin (大阪桐蔭) high school of the king of the last year and Chiben Wakayama (智辯和歌山) high school. I feel beautiful this photo. The students in the stands spelled out the letter ‘ C ’ . This 'C' expresses an initial of Chiben Wakayama. The game reached the end game by two to two tie score. Osaka Toin increased a score to the end game and won the game. With this victory , Osaka Toin achieved 2 straight victories.  I was able to watch a historic moment.  There are many splendid players in Osaka Toin. I introduce one player in that. Final baseball blog

I wrote the blog post of this baseball. I wrote about the NPB and the National High School Baseball Championship and sandlot baseball. Champion of Hanshin Tigers which I supported became severe this year. I wanted the Tigers to become the champion when I wrote this blog. I will continue to supporter the he Hanshin Tigers from now on.  The National High School Baseball Championship finished its 100th Anniversary this summer. I was not able to go to watch at Koshien. However , I watched it on TV and felt that it was the championship was very emotional. The  Champion was the Osaka Toin high school which I watched in spring Koshien after all. I right felt that it was the strongest team. The 100th Anniversary Koshien is over , and a tournament of this autumn begins. New teams will appear in spring Koshien.
